A well-known crypto analyst, DonAlt, shared his predictions for XRP and Bitcoin. He believes both could hit new highs under certain conditions.
XRP’s Path to New Highs
DonAlt, who boasts a large following on X (formerly Twitter), says XRP needs a strong weekly close to reach new all-time highs. Specifically, if XRP closes the week above $2.59, he expects it to quickly surpass its previous record high of $3.40. He’s less optimistic if the weekly close is below that level, predicting more sideways trading. At the time of writing, XRP is trading around $2.36.
Bitcoin’s Outlook and the Gold Connection
DonAlt also commented on Bitcoin. He suggests that Bitcoin’s price could rise alongside gold’s. He points to the BTC/gold ratio (currently around 33), arguing that it should be significantly higher, whether due to gold dropping or Bitcoin rising. He sees the current market negativity as surprisingly mild, considering Bitcoin’s price is holding key support levels.
Bitcoin’s All-Time High Target
Finally, DonAlt believes Bitcoin could hit new all-time highs if it can establish support above $101,303 on the daily chart. Bitcoin is currently trading near $95,977.
