President Trump is reportedly cooking up a new cryptocurrency video game, and it sounds like a digital twist on Monopoly.
A Monopoly-Style Crypto Game?
According to sources who spoke to Fortune, the game will be similar to Monopoly Go!, the mobile version of the classic board game. While one of Trump’s associates called the Monopoly comparison “hearsay,” they did confirm a new game is launching in April.
Behind the Scenes
Bill Zanker, who previously helped Trump launch his memecoin and NFTs, is reportedly involved in this project. Apparently, Zanker tried to get the rights to a Trump-branded Monopoly game from Hasbro back in May 2024, but Hasbro no longer held the license.
Trump’s Crypto Empire
This game is just the latest in Trump’s foray into the crypto world. He’s already launched World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a DeFi platform, and his own memecoin. Recently, WLFI even released a stablecoin called USD1.
