Trump-Linked Crypto Firm Moves Millions to Coinbase

A crypto project linked to former President Donald Trump, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), recently transferred a whopping $307.4 million in crypto to Coinbase.

A Big Crypto Transfer

Market analysts noticed the massive move on Monday. The transfer included various cryptocurrencies, such as a significant amount of Ethereum (ETH) and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC).

WLFI Explains the Move

WLFI quickly issued a statement clarifying the situation. They emphasized that this wasn’t a sell-off, but rather a routine reallocation of assets for typical business operations, including paying fees and managing working capital. They stated that this is standard practice for their treasury management.

Current Holdings

According to blockchain analytics firm Arkham, after the transfer, WLFI’s remaining crypto holdings are considerably smaller, totaling around $33.4 million. This includes assets like USDC, Tron (TRX), and staked Ethereum (stETH).
