Binance, the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange, just added support for Nexpace (NXPC), a new decentralized gaming token. This announcement sent the token’s price skyrocketing.
What is Nexpace (NXPC)?
Nexpace is the token powering a new blockchain-based gaming ecosystem connected to the popular South Korean MMORPG, MapleStory. It’s used to pay network fees and is designed to be interchangeable with NFTs within the MapleStory universe. Players can swap NXPC for NFTs and vice-versa, helping control the supply of NFTs in the game.
Binance Adds Support
Binance is offering NXPC across several of its platforms, including Binance Simple Earn, “Buy Crypto,” Binance Convert, and Binance Margin. They also announced NXPC’s addition to Binance Alpha, Binance Futures, and Binance HODLer Airdrops, making Binance Alpha the first platform to feature NXPC.
Price Surge
The news caused a massive price jump for NXPC. The token went from $2.01 on May 14th to a high of $3.77 the following day – a significant increase. While the price has since come down slightly, it’s still up 26% in the last 24 hours, currently trading around $2.53.
