Imrat Group and Bybit Partner Up
Toronto-based hedge fund, Imrat Group, announced a major partnership with cryptocurrency platform Bybit. This partnership gives Imrat Group early access to Bybit’s new service: direct stock trading using Tether (USDT) stablecoin. This means Imrat can now trade major stocks like Apple, Tesla, Nvidia, and Amazon, as well as participate in IPOs and ICOs, all without needing to convert to traditional fiat currencies.
Leveraged Trading Opens New Doors
The new system allows Imrat to use margin trading, boosting their potential returns. Ben Shultz, Head of IG Security Division at Imrat Group, stated that this isn’t just a technological upgrade, but a strategic shift. The ability to leverage their trades significantly improves their capital efficiency and gives them a competitive edge.
Flexibility and Access
Imrat highlights the flexibility this new platform offers. They can now implement sophisticated investment strategies without relying on traditional financial intermediaries, giving them quicker access to high-growth companies, especially in the tech and digital startup sectors. Shultz added that this level of access was previously only available to massive financial institutions.
