A Bitcoin (BTC) whale has moved a massive $43,940,000 in BTC from a wallet that had been inactive for over a decade.
Whale’s Decade-Old Holdings
On May 6th, the whale emptied their wallet, which had held 687.33 BTC since January 12th, 2014. At the time of purchase, the BTC was worth $630,000.
New Whales Accumulating
According to CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju, newer crypto whales are accumulating BTC at a higher rate than long-term holders. This suggests that older BTC holdings are being transferred to new investors.
Ethereum Whale Unloads Holdings
Another whale has begun selling Ethereum (ETH) after buying a large amount last year. The whale withdrew 7,000 ETH from Lido and deposited it into Binance, realizing a profit of over $16 million.
