Crypto Whale Withdraws Millions in Ethereum from Binance

A massive crypto whale holding nearly half a billion dollars in Ethereum (ETH) has been withdrawing funds from exchanges. The whale, identified by blockchain tracker Lookonchain, has moved ETH from Binance and decentralized exchanges (DEXes).

Whale’s Massive Accumulation

In just two weeks, the whale has amassed approximately $405.19 million worth of ETH. The average purchase price was around $3,172.

Whale’s Recent Activity

On the same day, another whale sent over $45.745 million worth of ETH to crypto exchange OKX. Additionally, a dormant wallet that participated in Ethereum’s initial coin offering (ICO) moved 197 ETH, worth $622,685.

Whale’s Leverage Attempt

Another whale has attempted to leverage-long Ethereum, despite previous losses of $4.5 million in similar trades. The whale borrowed USDT from Compound to long ETH.
