Bitcoin’s Last Dance Before the Halving

Cryptocurrency expert Michael Van De Poppe believes Bitcoin (BTC) could hit a new all-time high before the upcoming Halving event.

Final All-Time High Before Halving

Despite recent market weakness, Poppe predicts BTC will reach a new peak before the Halving, expected later this month. He says Bitcoin is currently consolidating and has identified two key levels:

  • $67,000: Support level
  • $71,700: Breakout level

If Bitcoin holds above $67,000, Poppe believes it will make one final attempt to reach a new all-time high before the Halving.

Warning for Investors

Poppe advises against chasing large price increases and recommends buying BTC when it’s down 15% to 40%. He also suggests investing in altcoins when they’re down 25% to 60%.

Possible Triggers for Correction

Bitcoin’s recent decline may be due to the influx of funds into US Spot Bitcoin ETFs, which has since slowed down. Data shows that these products saw a net outflow of $85.84 million on Monday.

Conclusion

Poppe believes Bitcoin will experience one final all-time high before the Halving, but warns investors to be cautious and buy at lower prices.
