Extradition Process Underway
Nigerian authorities have located Binance executive Nadeem Anjarwalla in Kenya. They’re now working with Kenyan authorities to extradite him back to Nigeria.
Guards Questioned
The guards responsible for Anjarwalla’s custody are being interrogated by military investigators.
How Did He Escape?
Anjarwalla escaped from Nigerian custody in March. He allegedly used his phone privileges to plan his escape and obtained his Kenyan passport. He then fled Nigeria on a Middle Eastern airline.
Other Executive Remains in Custody
Tigran Gambaryan, the other Binance executive detained in Nigeria, remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
