Banker Busted: Fed Bans Employee for Nonprofit Embezzlement

A bank employee has been banned by the Federal Reserve for allegedly stealing money from a charity.

The Case Against Kendall Hickman

Kendall Hickman, a former employee of Jonah Bank in Wyoming, is accused of embezzling $33,212 from a nonprofit where she worked as a bookkeeper. She held both jobs from July 2021 to June 2023. The Federal Reserve says her actions broke the law and involved dishonesty.

Full Repayment, No Admission

Although Hickman has repaid the stolen funds and agreed to the Fed’s ban, she hasn’t admitted guilt. The Fed’s order doesn’t prevent them from taking further action against her in the future. Violating the ban could lead to additional civil or criminal penalties.
