ZKcandy, a new mobile gaming platform powered by AI and blockchain technology, has officially launched its mainnet. This follows a successful testnet phase and a $4 million seed funding round from major investors like Wemix Pte. Ltd. and Animoca Ventures.
Reimagining Web3 Gaming on Mobile
ZKcandy aims to revolutionize Web3 gaming by focusing on mobile-first experiences. The platform uses AI to create immersive games with dynamic storylines and personalized gameplay. Players own their in-game assets and can seamlessly move them between different games within the ZKcandy ecosystem.
Impressive Testnet Results
During the open testnet, ZKcandy saw impressive results:
- 2.46 million wallets created
- 230,000 active users across five games
This success helped establish ZKcandy as a leading ZK Chain within the ZKSync Elastic Network. The platform collaborated with 19 partners, including Layer3, Aethir, Rarible, and Out Of The Nest, to build its ecosystem.
Mainnet Launch and Future Plans
The mainnet launch features eight Web3 games, including Pepe Kingdom, Candy Defense, and Sugar Rush. ZKcandy is also partnering with game studios to develop games based on major Hollywood film IPs, with the first one already in development. The company aims to reach 2 million active users within six months.
ZKcandy leverages the low transaction fees and advanced features of the ZKSync Layer-2 scaling solution. This, combined with iCandy Interactive’s extensive experience in mobile game development (over 500 titles), positions ZKcandy to capitalize on the booming mobile gaming market, projected to reach $126.1 billion in revenue this year.
What the CEO Says
ZKcandy CEO Kin Wai Lau expressed excitement about the mainnet launch and the company’s future plans, highlighting the platform’s commitment to making Web3 gaming accessible and enjoyable for all. He emphasized the importance of open and transparent gaming experiences, powered by blockchain technology.
