UwU Lend Hit by Second Attack During Reimbursement

First Attack

On June 10th, UwU Lend was hit by a $19.3 million attack. The attacker used flash loans to manipulate the price of USDe and borrow more than expected.

Reimbursement Process

After the first attack, UwU Lend promised to repay users. However, during the reimbursement process, a second attack occurred.

Second Attack

The second attack drained $3.7 million from UwU Lend. The attacker used the same method as in the first attack.

Community Concerns

The community is concerned about the safety of their funds. Some are questioning if the team is aware of the attacker’s tokens and why they didn’t stop supporting sUSDE collateral.

Investigation

UwU Lend has paused the protocol and is investigating the situation. Reports suggest the second attack was caused by a similar vulnerability to the first.

Founder’s History

UwU Lend was founded by Michael Patryn, also known as Sifu. Patryn was previously involved in the collapsed QuadrigaCX exchange and is facing legal issues.
