Teenagers Kidnap Investor, Steal $4 Million in Crypto

Three teenagers are facing serious charges after allegedly kidnapping a wealthy investor and stealing millions in cryptocurrency.

The Kidnapping and Robbery

The incident happened in Las Vegas during a cryptocurrency event. After the victim returned to his apartment, three teens forced him into their car at gunpoint. They threatened his life and forced him to reveal his passwords, accessing his accounts and stealing approximately $4 million in cryptocurrency and NFTs.

Desert Escape and Arrest

The teens drove the victim about an hour outside of Las Vegas to White Hills, Arizona, where they abandoned him in the desert. He then walked five miles to a gas station to call for help.

Police tracked down the suspects, two 16-year-old boys from Florida, by tracing a vehicle that had traveled from Florida to Nevada and was seen near the victim’s apartment. A third suspect, who is believed to be outside the US, remains at large. Both arrested teens are being tried as adults.

Ongoing Legal Proceedings

The two arrested teenagers are currently facing charges of robbery, kidnapping, and extortion. The case is ongoing.
