Succinct’s Decentralized Proof Network Goes Live

Succinct Labs announced the launch of its mainnet for the Succinct Prover Network, a decentralized system for creating and verifying zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs. This means anyone can now easily request and check these proofs from a global network.

What is the Succinct Prover Network?

The network acts like a marketplace: apps request proofs, and independent “provers” compete to provide them. This makes using ZK technology much simpler for developers; it’s as easy as using an API. The network already boasts impressive stats:

  • Supports over 35 protocols.
  • Processes proofs from 1,700 different programs.
  • Secured over $4 billion in value.
  • Completed over five million proofs for protocols like Polygon, Mantle, Celestia, and Lido.

The PROVE token powers the network’s economy, paying provers and ensuring security. This creates a universal payment system for all ZK infrastructure.

Big Plans for the Future

The network’s creators envision it powering a wide range of applications, from Ethereum (which is prioritizing ZK technology) to high-speed rollups handling tens of thousands of transactions per second for things like trading and AI.

John Guibas, Succinct Labs’ CTO, highlighted the speed of development, stating that going from a concept to a working mainnet in just eight months is a testament to the team’s work. Uma Roy, CEO, added that Succinct is poised to support the next wave of verifiable computation applications, believing ZK proofs will become standard for how crypto interacts with the wider internet.
