A well-known crypto analyst, Bluntz, is predicting a tough three years for Solana (SOL). Bluntz, who correctly predicted Solana’s price crash earlier this year, shared his forecast with his large X (formerly Twitter) following.
Solana’s Bear Market
Bluntz believes SOL will be in a bear market for the next two years. While he expects some short-term price increases, these will likely just set up even bigger drops. He’s using Elliott Wave theory, which suggests a price correction after a significant price surge. His analysis suggests:
- A-wave: The current downward trend, potentially ending below $100.
- B-wave: A temporary rally, possibly reaching $200 by early 2026.
- C-wave:
A final drop to around $80 in 2027.
- New Bull Run: A potential price surge above $300 in 2028.
Currently, SOL is trading around $118.
A Weak Dollar?
Bluntz also shared his outlook on the US Dollar Index (DXY). He thinks 2025 will be a bad year for the dollar, predicting a continued decline that could push the DXY below 100 points. The DXY is currently at 103.84 points.
