Ryoshi, the anonymous founder of Shiba Inu, the second-largest meme coin, has shared their vision for the project’s future.
Community-Driven Growth
Ryoshi praised the SHIB community for its organic growth and resilience, emphasizing that it’s greater than any individual, movement, or nation-state. They stressed the importance of implementing ideas properly to ensure a solid foundation for the ecosystem’s future.
Token Utilities
Ryoshi envisions a future where all ecosystem tokens, including SHIB, BONE, LEASH, TREAT, and the new SHI token, fulfill their intended utilities. They particularly highlighted SHI, expecting it to gradually become a globalized exchange of value.
Global Adoption
Ryoshi aims for widespread adoption of SHI, not just among major players but also among small traders worldwide. They imagined a fish market vendor accepting SHI for payments, emphasizing minimal or no transaction fees on Shibarium.
Shiba Inu Founder’s Anonymity
Despite the project’s four-year existence, Ryoshi’s identity remains a mystery. They gradually withdrew from the public eye, culminating in the deletion of their X (formerly Twitter) account in May 2022. Ryoshi urged the community to continue the Shiba Inu journey without them.
Active Team Members
While Ryoshi remains inactive, other Shiba Inu team members, including Lead Developer Shytoshi Kusama and Marketing Lead Lucie, continue to be actively involved on social media, keeping the community engaged.
