Ripple chairman Chris Larsen is one of many business leaders throwing their support behind Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
CEOs Say Harris is Good for Business
According to CNBC, Larsen and 87 other current and former CEOs have signed a letter endorsing Harris over Donald Trump. The letter states that with Harris as president, “the business community can be confident that it will have a president who wants American industries to thrive.”
Who’s Backing Harris?
The letter is signed by a bunch of big names, including former CEOs of companies like Paramount, Pepsi, Merck, Ford, GoDaddy, Starbucks, and PayPal. Current CEOs from Yelp, Box, Snap, and 21st Century Fox are also on board, along with sports mogul Ted Leonsis, Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz, and billionaire Mark Cuban.
Harris: A Champion for Businesses
The letter highlights Harris’s work alongside President Biden, stating that she has “a strong record of advancing actions to spur business investment in the United States and ensure American businesses can compete and win in the global market.” They also praise her commitment to “fair and predictable policies” that support a strong business environment and “give every American the opportunity to pursue the American dream.”
