OKX Kicks Out Some Crypto Pairs

OKX, a big crypto exchange, is giving the boot to some trading pairs, including Cardano (ADA), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and XRP. They say these pairs aren’t performing well enough, so they’re getting the axe.

Bye Bye, Trading Pairs

OKX is removing a bunch of trading pairs, including:

  • ADA-ETH
  • XRP-ETH
  • SHIB-BTC
  • ADA-BTC
  • XRP-BTC

They’re also kicking out some pairs for Litecoin (LTC), Polygon (MATIC), Chainlink (LINK), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Polkadot (DOT).

OKX says they regularly check their trading pairs to make sure they’re “healthy,” and these just didn’t make the cut. They didn’t say exactly why, though.

Get Your Orders Out!

Here’s the delisting schedule:

  • July 25th, 8:00 – 8:30 AM UTC: ADA-ETH
  • July 26th, 8:00 – 8:30 AM UTC: XRP-ETH, SHIB-BTC
  • August 1st, 8:00 – 8:30 AM UTC: ADA-BTC
  • August 2nd, 8:00 – 8:30 AM UTC: XRP-BTC

OKX is telling everyone to cancel any orders they have for these pairs before they get delisted. If you don’t, they’ll do it for you, but it might take a few days.

OKX Plays Games on Telegram

OKX is also launching a new game on Telegram called “OKX Racer.” It’s all about Bitcoin’s price, and players have to guess where it’s going every five seconds.

Jason Lau, the big boss of innovation at OKX, says Telegram mini-apps are getting really popular and they want to get in on the action. They think it’s a great way to get people involved and have some fun.

These Telegram games sometimes give out free tokens, so maybe OKX will do that too. But they haven’t said anything about it yet.
