The crypto world is buzzing with activity, and two projects are leading the pack: Internet Computer (ICP) and Chainlink (LINK). According to Santiment, a company that tracks crypto data, these two projects have been incredibly busy with development in the last month.
Coding Frenzy
Internet Computer, a network designed for building decentralized apps, had a whopping 829 notable events on GitHub, a platform where developers share code. Chainlink, a network that connects smart contracts to real-world data, wasn’t far behind with 789.87 events. These numbers are considered “historic rates” by Santiment, meaning they’re significantly higher than usual.
What Does This Mean?
A lot of development activity usually means developers are confident in a project’s future. It also suggests that the project is less likely to be a scam.
Other Busy Projects
Hedera, another decentralized network, came in third with 527.8 events. Cardano, a competitor to Ethereum, jumped to fourth place with 430.97 events.
Price Action
ICP is currently trading at $7.79, down slightly in the last 24 hours. LINK is trading at $12.57, up nearly 3% in the same period.
It’s worth noting that these numbers don’t include routine updates. Santiment uses a special method to track only the most significant development events.
