A popular crypto analyst, Michaël van de Poppe, shared his predictions for Bitcoin and Ethereum, warning of potential lows for Bitcoin and predicting a rise for Ethereum and altcoins.
Bitcoin’s Crucial Support Level
Van de Poppe, who boasts over 800,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter), highlighted a key support level for Bitcoin at $115,000. He stated that if Bitcoin falls below this level, it could trigger a significant price drop and potentially new lows. Conversely, holding above $114,800 could pave the way for a new all-time high. At the time of his analysis, Bitcoin was trading around $116,497.
Ethereum’s Potential Breakout
Turning to Ethereum, Van de Poppe expressed optimism, predicting a move towards $4,000 in the coming days. He cited strong market conditions, increasing volume, and rising volatility as positive indicators. Ethereum was trading at $3,945 when the prediction was made.
Altcoin Opportunity
Van de Poppe also sees a significant opportunity in the altcoin market. He believes many altcoins are undervalued and could see massive gains (200-500%) within the next 2-4 months. He attributes this to many altcoins not having reached their previous highs, and points to Ethereum’s recent movement as a sign of increased investor risk appetite.
