McGregor teamed up with Real World Gaming, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), to create REAL. Token holders will get rewards for staking (locking up their tokens) and will have a say in how the project develops. McGregor hyped the launch on X (formerly Twitter), claiming he’s here to shake up the crypto world, just like he did with fighting, whiskey, and stout.
Token Distribution: Who Gets What?
The REAL token’s distribution isn’t exactly equal. The biggest chunk (31.5%) goes to the DAO treasury. The community gets almost 17%, while the team and advisors get 10% and 1%, respectively. The project’s whitepaper shows a system where bigger investors who stake regularly get bigger rewards – a tiered system.

The REAL project aims to change the gambling game by connecting it more to real-life experiences and attracting mainstream users. McGregor and his team plan to use the money to invest in sports and gaming ventures.
