Coinbase, a major US cryptocurrency exchange, has added three new digital assets to its platform. These include a memecoin, a utility token, and another memecoin.
Gigachad (GIGA) Takes Off
The first is Gigachad (GIGA), a Solana-based memecoin inspired by a Russian bodybuilder. Since its Coinbase listing, GIGA’s price has jumped over 39%, trading at $0.06844 at the time of writing. It boasts a market cap of $657.9 million, making it the 183rd largest crypto project.
Magic Eden (ME) Joins the Party
Next up is Magic Eden (ME), a utility token for the Solana-based Magic Eden NFT marketplace. Users can sell their NFTs using ME and earn tokens from sales. Currently trading at $5.15, ME is down 12% in the last 24 hours. Its market cap sits at $673.5 million, ranking it 178th overall.
Turbo (TURBO) Charges In
Finally, Coinbase added Turbo (TURBO), an Ethereum-based memecoin created using GPT-4 and featuring a toad character. The project celebrated its Coinbase listing on X (formerly Twitter). TURBO is currently trading at $0.01338, a 30.3% increase in the last 24 hours. With a market cap of $923.8 million, it’s the 146th largest crypto project.
