Cardano is teaming up with Brave browser to bring full Cardano support to the Brave Wallet. This is a huge deal, especially since it’s happening during Cardano’s Voltaire governance era.
Brave Wallet Integration
The partnership means you’ll be able to send, receive, swap, and sign ADA and other Cardano assets directly within the Brave browser – no extensions needed! Brave’s CEO, Brendan Eich, sees this as a big step towards a more user-friendly and private Web3. He emphasizes the importance of giving users choices and maximizing interoperability between different blockchains.
A Wave of New Deals
Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, calls this partnership a “natural fit,” highlighting the shared vision for a more secure and user-friendly Web3. But he also hinted at a lot more partnerships on the way. He’s talking about “several dozen deals” involving Cardano and its native assets.
Midnight’s Role
These new partnerships are largely thanks to Midnight, Cardano’s privacy-focused sidechain. Midnight uses zero-knowledge proofs to make smart contracts more confidential. Hoskinson jokingly said that Midnight’s integration with Brave will give advertising companies a fright, and even hinted that VPN providers might be next.
Fixing Broken Deals
Hoskinson mentioned that many of these deals were supposed to happen in 2022 but were delayed. Now, with Midnight leading the charge, they’re finally getting done.
What it Means for Users
For Brave users (over 85 million monthly!), this means easy access to ADA and other Cardano tokens directly in their browser. They’ll also be able to participate in Cardano’s governance without needing to use another platform. Future plans include even deeper integration with Midnight once it’s fully launched.

Market Reaction
The immediate market reaction to the news was fairly calm, with ADA’s price remaining relatively stable around $0.80.
