Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway recently made some significant adjustments to its investment portfolio. The company significantly reduced its holdings of short-term US Treasury bills.
Treasury Bill Sell-Off
Berkshire Hathaway slashed its Treasury bill holdings by a whopping $42.87 billion in the second quarter of the year. This leaves them with $243.605 billion in T-bills.
Sirius XM Investment
Meanwhile, Berkshire Hathaway increased its stake in Sirius XM Holdings (SIRI). They bought over 5 million additional shares, bringing their total ownership to over 124 million shares. This purchase was made at around $21 per share, while the stock closed at $20.97 on Wednesday.

Berkshire Hathaway also made other notable moves:
- Sold Verisign: The company sold nearly $1.23 billion worth of Verisign shares.
- Q1 Acquisitions: Earlier this year, Berkshire Hathaway added to its holdings in several companies, including POOLCORP, Constellation Brands, Domino’s Pizza, and Heico Corporation.
