Bitcoin just had a massive surge, and one analyst thinks it’s just getting started.
A Long Climb
Rekt Capital, a popular crypto analyst, says Bitcoin’s recent price climb is one of the longest in history. He compares it to previous bull runs, noting that Bitcoin saw four weeks of uninterrupted growth in 2021, eight weeks in 2017, and around six weeks in 2013.
“This is the first major price jump of this cycle,” Rekt says. “We’ve seen these before, but they usually get interrupted by a correction. This time, we might have a few more weeks of upside before we see any pullback.”
A Bold Prediction
Rekt also made a bold prediction on X (formerly Twitter): Bitcoin could reach $96,500 by the end of the year. He bases this on a similar price surge in 2020, where Bitcoin rallied 106% after breaking a key resistance level.
The Bottom Line
Bitcoin is currently trading at around $87,865, having just hit a new all-time high of over $89,800. While Rekt’s prediction is just that – a prediction – it’s clear that Bitcoin is on a hot streak.
