Bitcoin Veteran Goes All-In: Vays Predicts New Highs

Veteran crypto trader Tone Vays has changed his tune on Bitcoin, going “fully long” after previously selling his holdings.

From Bear to Bull

Vays, known for his large following on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that he sold all his Bitcoin in late November at around $97,800. However, he’s now back in the game, buying back in at roughly $100,000. This shift comes after Bitcoin hit a record high of $108,135 in mid-December.

Vays’ Bitcoin Price Prediction

In a recent YouTube video, Vays outlined his optimistic outlook. He’s hoping to see Bitcoin consolidate this week, ideally closing around $99,000. His ideal scenario involves a strong close above $101,000 by the end of January, setting the stage for a potential climb towards $120,000 and beyond. He stressed that this is just his prediction, and the market could move differently.

Current Market Conditions

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading around $97,149, down over 5% in the last 24 hours. This drop doesn’t seem to deter Vays’ bullish sentiment.
