A Dip Before the Rocket?
Van de Poppe, who boasts a massive following on X (formerly Twitter), forecasts a slight dip in Bitcoin’s price before a significant surge. He believes Bitcoin needs to overcome a key resistance level of around $108,900 to break its previous record. He expects this final hurdle to be cleared within the next one to two weeks.
Altcoins to Follow Suit
According to Van de Poppe, a Bitcoin price surge would trigger a massive rally in altcoins. This is due to a potential “short squeeze,” where investors who bet against altcoins are forced to buy them to limit their losses, rapidly driving up prices.
Current Market Conditions
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading slightly below $107,700. Van de Poppe’s prediction suggests a significant price increase is on the horizon.
