Binance is set to list Pixels (PIXEL), a social Web3 gaming altcoin, on its Launchpool platform. PIXEL is a blockchain-based, open-ended game centered around farming and exploration.
Launchpool Details:
- Starting Friday, Binance users can stake BNB and FDUSD in separate pools to farm PIXEL tokens for 10 days.
- PIXEL will be listed for trading on February 19th, with a seed tag indicating lower liquidity and higher volatility potential.
- Users holding assets with seed tags must pass quizzes every 90 days to acknowledge the risks.
Pixels’ Success:
- Pixels has seen remarkable growth, surpassing 180,000 daily active users in 2023.
- The game attributes its success to its community and migration to Ronin, Sky Mavis’ proprietary blockchain.
Ronin (RON):
- Ronin is an Ethereum sidechain focused on gaming.
- Pixels previously used an in-game currency, BERRY, but plans to phase it out in favor of PIXEL.
- BERRY holders will receive a proportionate amount of PIXEL, and it will be replaced by an off-chain coin in the game.
