Binance Adds Three New Altcoins After User Vote

Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume, has added three new altcoins to its platform following a user vote.

New Listings Fuelled by User Demand

The newly listed coins are Ondo (ONDO), a decentralized investment banking protocol; Big Time (BIGTIME), a blockchain-based multiplayer role-playing game; and Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUALS), an AI-based gaming protocol. Binance has tagged these assets as “seed” listings, indicating they are newer and may experience higher volatility than established cryptocurrencies. The exchange warns users to proceed with caution and conduct thorough research before trading these assets.

Price Jumps After Listing

The news of the listing led to immediate price increases. At the time of writing, ONDO was up 8.6%, BIGTIME 16.3%, and VIRTUALS 16.8% in the past 24 hours.

Binance’s “Vote to List” Initiative

This is the second batch of altcoins added through Binance’s “vote to list” campaign, launched in March. This initiative gives users a direct say in which projects are added to the exchange. The first batch of coins listed via this method also experienced significant volatility.
