A cryptocurrency investor, known as a “whale,” has emerged as the largest holder of PUPS, a dog-themed meme token on the Solana blockchain.
Whale’s Purchases
According to blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain, the whale has accumulated over $4.29 million worth of PUPS. Their latest purchase of 8,862 PUPS, valued at $512,000, has solidified their position as the largest holder of the token on Solana.
Whale’s Other Holdings
In addition to PUPS, the whale also holds significant amounts of other meme tokens, including President Joe Biden-themed Jeo Boden (BODEN) and dog-themed dogwifhat (WIF).
Solana Whale Activity
Lookonchain has observed increased activity among Solana whales recently. Following a market correction, several whales have been accumulating discounted tokens, including Slerf (SLERF) and Book of Meme (BOME).
Panic Selling
During the same period, four other whales were identified panic-selling WIF, unloading a total of $12.41 million worth of the token near the market bottom.
