Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe is predicting a massive Bitcoin (BTC) price increase. He believes BTC could hit $250,000 by the end of the year – a roughly 112% jump from current levels.
Bitcoin’s Bullish Run
Van de Poppe, who boasts a large following on X (formerly Twitter), outlines a potential path to this ambitious target. He suggests BTC could reach $125,000 this month and $150,000 by September. However, he cautions that the rally might pause briefly before continuing its upward trajectory. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading around $117,915.
Ethereum’s Potential
Van de Poppe isn’t just bullish on Bitcoin. He also sees a positive outlook for Ethereum (ETH), predicting a rise to levels last seen in late 2021. Currently trading at approximately $2,980, ETH has seen a recent surge but remains below its all-time high.
Altcoins on the Rise?
The analyst also believes altcoins are poised for a comeback. He points to a bullish divergence against Bitcoin, suggesting altcoins are nearing a bottom against the flagship cryptocurrency. This divergence indicates that altcoins might be ready to outperform Bitcoin in the near future.
