A popular crypto analyst, Pentoshi, shared his price predictions for Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC). He boasts a large following on X (formerly Twitter).
Ethereum’s Potential Surge
Pentoshi believes Ethereum could easily surpass $3,000 before October. He sees a “structural shift” happening, leading to significant price increases. He suggests a potential upside of 3.2 times the current price, but also acknowledges a possible drop to $2,100 as a downside scenario. His long-term forecast shows ETH peaking above $4,000 in early 2025, before settling around $2,500 by July 2025. At the time of writing, ETH is trading at $2,577.
Bitcoin’s Bullish Outlook
Turning to Bitcoin, Pentoshi argues that recent price movements (since July 2023) aren’t bearish at all. He believes those who predicted a downturn were misled by short-term price fluctuations. He predicts Bitcoin will soon reach a new all-time high, although he didn’t give a specific timeframe. Bitcoin is currently trading at $109,488.
