Binance, the world’s biggest crypto exchange, is adding a new token to its Launchpool. This Launchpool project, number 61, is for USUAL, the native token of a decentralized stablecoin issuer.
What is USUAL?
USUAL is different from other stablecoin companies like Tether and Circle. It aims to share its profits with users, unlike those other companies. It uses real-world assets to back its stablecoin, Usual USD (USD0), which aims to stay pegged to the US dollar. The company says this makes it more secure and transparent. USUAL holders will also get a say in how the project is run.
Binance Launchpool Details
Between November 15th and 19th, Binance users can stake their BNB and FDUSD (First Digital USD) to earn USUAL tokens. Binance plans to list USUAL on its exchange on November 19th. USD0 is currently a relatively small cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
